# What is Vikings Valley?

Each island has a minimum Raiding Power (RP) you need to sail, and a success chance you can improve—but never guarantee—with a stronger crew. A raid can succeed or fail: win and you return with TRIDIUM (TRD); lose and you spend your provisions with nothing to show. Either way, your crew enters a 24-hour cooldown before it can raid again.

Rewards are paid in TRD from an in-game pool, seeded by the P2E allocation and replenished by in-game activity. The value of TRD can rise or fall.

The world is built around four core elements:

⚔️ Drakkars

🪓 Vikings

🏝️ Islands

🪙 TRIDIUM (TRD)

**ODDIE**

ODDIE is the system that governs the Vikings Valley economy in real time.

Based on the current state of the ecosystem, ODDIE adjusts two things: the rewards you can earn from a raid, and the provision cost you pay to launch one. When the economy runs hot, rewards tighten and costs rise; when it cools, rewards open up and costs ease.

Each island's economic state is always visible to you before you sail, so every expedition is an informed decision.

ODDIE operates across three states:

🟢 **Stable** — rewards at their most generous, provisions at their lowest.\
🟡 **Adjusting** — rewards and costs at a midpoint.\
🔴 **High Emission** — rewards reduced, provisions raised.

ODDIE is the lever that regulates how TRD enters and leaves the economy.
